Washington, D.C. - This week, Members of the House Veterans Affairs Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity unanimously voted to advance the Student Veteran Benefit Restoration Act (H.R. 1767), which Congresswoman Delia Ramirez (IL-03) introduced earlier this year in order to establish an across the board process for student veterans to restore their GI Bill education benefits in qualifying instances, such as when a student veteran has been defrauded by an educational institution.
