MSW Internship
Master of Social Work Interns
As a Master of Social Work (MSW) Intern, you will gain hands-on experience serving constituents, advancing equity policy, and connecting communities to critical resources. The MSW/BSW internship also offers numerous opportunities to fulfill the core competencies established by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
We are looking for passionate individuals committed to the values of service, community, and perseverance to join our team as MSW/BSW interns. Everyone is encouraged to apply, but priority will be given to applicants who reside in the district.
NOTE: Applications must be submitted a minimum of 45 days prior to the proposed placement start date. Late or last-minute submissions will not be accepted.

- Stakeholder Engagement
- Event Planning and Execution
- Outreach Resources
- Commendation and Recognition Processes
- Community Projects and Grants Support
- Constituent Services Responsibilities
- Administrative Duties
These are the general responsibilities and qualifications of the MSW/BSW intern position; other duties may be assigned based on the intern's interests, abilities, and the needs of the office.
Our office offers both full-time and part-time internships, but full-time availability is preferred. Bilingual language skills (ENG/SPAN, ENG/POLISH) are highly preferred.
As of 2025, NASW accreditation requires the following internship hours:
- Bachelor of Social Work (BSW): 400
- Master of Social Work (MSW): 600
